Tuition Fees and Conditions for teaching of Vocal training, Acting training, and preparation for Lamda Exams, Performing Arts Festivals and Auditions
(With effect from 01 January 2020)
Lesson Fees – individual sessions per 45 minutes…. £15 payable in “terms” of 5 sessions on or before the first session of each term by Bacs to S J Stone. Extra length lessons or special requests by arrangement.
Supplementary costs – students will be expected to provide a notepad and at least an A4 plastic/card pocket folder for music or text. Where I am required to provide sheet music, practice cds and vocal backing tracks, a small additional charge will be levied as below:
Practice cds- £1.00
Sheet music - not already in my stock will be charged as cost of purchase/download (approximately £4 per song). Otherwise FOC.
Typed words/lyrics - provided free of charge.
Individual vocal backing tracks - if not already in my stock will be charged at cost (can be as little as 24 pence per song up to £10 for special tracks).
LAMDA examinations are held locally three times a year, March, June and November. The entrance fee is per exam and varies with grade, ranging at the moment from approximately £20-£100.
Festivals – I currently enter students in Lytham St Annes (March) and Fleetwood (November). Again, the fees are per class and currently are approximately £5 per class entry.
Both these fees must be paid to me prior to the student being entered for either event.
Holidays- there will be a fixed 2 week break at Christmas. Other holidays will be arranged to meet students’ requirements and my own availability, particularly over the summer period
Cancellations - 24 hours or less, no refund applicable. Cancellations 24 hours or more a replacement lesson that week or added on at the end of the term. No cash refunds will be provided in respect of student cancellations. If I have to cancel lessons, full credit or refund will be provided. |
